Prefab in All Its Forms - At the Tyrosse Multimodal Transport Hub

At the Tyrosse Multimodal Transport Hub, the question was simple: How can we design a station with a minimal carbon footprint?

With MATERRUP Low Carbon & Circular Cements, we provided a concrete answer: low-carbon precast elements made with our MCC1®️, a cold-activated clay cement.

👉 Three families of precast products were used — and three committed manufacturers joined forces :

Perin grass pavers (pressed precast) – 1,300 m² of permeable parking surfaces

ALKERN curbs and gutters (pressed precast) – 1,600 linear meters of P3, 1,900 of T2, and 700 of CS1

• Béton de Lissardy (DUHALDE BTP) – concrete benches (cast precast)

Here, low-carbon is neither a slogan nor a statement — it’s tangible. It’s made, installed, and used.

A single project, multiple solutions, one shared goal: to drastically reduce the carbon, energy, and material footprint of concrete.

How? By changing just one ingredient: the cement.

And this is just one example among many.

These products — along with more than a hundred others already developed — are now available across France, supported by local precast concrete manufacturers committed to the transition.

At MATERRUP Low Carbon & Circular Cements, we’re not pushing for a disruptive break..

We’re offering manufacturers a credible and immediate path into the low-carbon era — without destabilizing their tools or business models.

Our belief: preserve existing industrial assets, secure the present, and open the way to an industry that transforms itself for future generations.

With MCC1®️, priced at the same level as CEM II 42.5, the transition isn’t a rupture — it’s a reinvented continuity, toward regenerative concrete..
