MATERRUP is proud to contribute to one of Paris’s most iconic construction projects: the Tour Triangle, soon to be the third tallest tower in the city. This landmark development will reach 180 meters in height and is led by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, AXA Investment Managers, and designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
🧱 Successful Substitution & Visible Carbon Impact
Starting from the first floor, conventional hollow blocks were replaced by MATERRUP hollow blocks — low-carbon and circular.
It’s a clear demonstration that we can radically reduce the carbon footprint without disrupting site operations or habits.
The result? An immediate 44% reduction in COâ‚‚ emissions, equal to approximately 37 tons of COâ‚‚ avoided.
🌍 An Exemplary Project — From Design to Use
Energy consumption cut by a factor of 3.3 compared to existing commercial buildings, Highest certifications: HQE Exceptional, BREEAM Outstanding A mixed-use program: 70,000 m² of office space, a 128-room hotel, daycare center, cultural center, public observatory..... A true “city within a tower.”
🤝 Strong Partnerships & Shared Vision
Collaboration with all stakeholders shows that better with less is possible — starting now.
A big thank you to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, AXA Investment Managers, BESIX, BFM Construction, and of course Groupe TF1 and the 8PM news team for showcasing this exemplary project.
