MCC3® Cement – The first cement engineered for thermal comfort

Building resilience against extreme heat.

Building resilience against extreme heat.

🏫 Public buildings : schools, hospitals, nurseries and care homes, concentrate the most heat-exposed uses. Yet most available solutions rely on add-on insulation: a cladding fix applied at the very end of the chain..

At MATERRUP Low carbon & circular cements,  we work on the material itself.

Our MCC3® cement, based on our CCC® technology (cold-activated clay — kiln-free, 100% electric), enables the formulation of concretes with high thermal inertia..

⏱️  A thermal phase shift of up to 24 hours naturally regulates indoor temperature, improving occupant comfort while reducing reliance on air conditioning. This response to heatwave risk is embedded in France's RE2020 regulation through the DH (Degree-Hour) indicator, which assesses building overheating risk.

✅ MCC3® cement contributes to improved summer comfort:

→ 🌍180 kg CO₂/t of cement, clinker-free

→ 📉Under 100 kg CO₂/m³ of concrete

→ ☀️ Heat absorption during the day

→ 🌡️Reduced indoor temperature peaks

→ 🏗️ Scalable to the volumes of public construction

→ 👍 Already deployable under ATEx (case B) technical approval

🥇  MCC3®: the first cement engineered for building thermal comfort.

The result: smoothed indoor temperature peaks. Naturally. With no active equipment. 🌿

A systemic answer to a problem set to intensify and accelerate.
