Because a hollow block is inherently more resource-efficient, we at MATERRUP believe it is a solution to prioritize whenever possible, including for structural works.
Because one square meter of block will always be less carbon-intensive than one square meter of wall, we have worked to provide you with a hollow block solution:

Regarding carbon footprint, because stating it is not enough, we have had the carbon footprint of our blocks verified by independent experts to provide you with a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD):
🍀 At equivalent performances, our structural B40 precision blocks with thin joints, installed with conventional mortar, provide an immediate and unprecedented carbon avoidance of 88% compared to a C25/30 wall and 37.5% compared to conventional blocks.
🎖 One square meter of MATERRUP structural B40 blocks corresponds to only 6.44 kg of CO2 equivalent.
The EPD of our blocks takes into account the entire product life cycle, from raw material extraction to end-of-life, including transportation, implementation, and even the use of the product.
