With MCC1, we had already taken a first step: Â 350 kg COâ/t.
With MCC2, we are unlocking the full potential of this technology:
đ 180 kg COâ/t,
đ i.e. â74% vs. a standard cement (â694 kg COâ/t).
Thanks to this cement, C25/30 concretes drop below 100 kg COâ/mÂłÂ
ultraâlow-carbon concretes that are reliable, high-performance and accessible.
A level that, like MCC1, meets the 2031 RE2020 thresholds, and complies with CSRD, water, waste and carbon trajectory requirements.
đŹ What we are doing is not an optimisation.
Our proprietary CCCÂź technology is based on a radical idea: you donât need to calcine clay to produce a high-performance cement.
Circular clay from co-products/waste
Mechano-chemical activation
Less energy
A carbon footprint divided by 4
CAPEX & OPEX divided by 4 compared to calcined clay
An industrial reality.
We are the pioneers of this approach. Whether you call it mechano-chemical activation, pozzolanic activation, activated clay or reactive mineral⊠it always describes the same family of phenomena that Materrup invented, patented and industrialised. And MCC2 is a new demonstration of this.
đ€Â MCC2 is reserved for our partners
for those who want to:
-Â reduce the footprint of their structures,
-Â secure their projects for 2025â2031,
-Â remain competitive in tenders,
-Â produce without changing their habits,
-Â and build on a protected, stable and proven technology.
đ Materrup keeps moving forward.
Each step shows what cold activation can bring to our industry.
MCC2 is designed for those who want to accelerate the transition, reduce their carbon footprint, and build differently starting today.
The new MCC2 standard is here.
