Your tasks for this position
- Lead the SMCP Landes
- Lead the design, preparation, and start-up of new SMCP
- Ensure the coordination of services within your scope: Production, Engineering, QHSE, Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory commitments
- Drive the performance ramp-up
- Supervise daily operations in the SMCP to ensure efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance of production processes.
- Implement global production management control tools to optimize operational performance while ensuring profitability.
- Optimize the supply chain, ensuring stock reliability
- Implement consistent operational systems and standards to ensure compliance
- Manage Teams
- Prepare SMCP budgets in collaboration with site managers
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure optimal management of production costs
- Prepare detailed reports for the group’s executive committee, providing key analyses and strategic recommendations for optimizing operations.
Your background and experience
At least 10 years of experience in managing industrial units internationally, in single and multi-site operations within the mineral or cement industry
- Mastery of quarry or cement production operating equipment
- Operational excellence
- Proven experience in managing impactful industrial projects: greenfield, investments, modernization, digitalization
- Development of strategic plans, benchmarks, knowledge transfer
- Working in multi-site and multicultural networks
Your education
Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Production, supplemented by an MBA or management training, with proven experience in an industrial management/leadership role, ideally in a multi-site environment.
Your skills :
- Mastery of all aspects related to an industrial process (industrial strategy and organization, production, new product development, cost monitoring, Lean management, supply chain, quality, and HSE regulations).
- Good interpersonal skills, negotiation ability with suppliers and colleagues
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Adaptability and tenacity

- Experience in team management is essential
- Fluent in English, with German and Spanish being a plus
