Materrup is looking for its Quality and Laboratory Manager to lead product quality, the quality management system, and performance improvement
Your tasks for this position
- Ensure responsibility and coordination with teams on Hygiene, Safety, Environment, and Quality topics based on the zero-accident culture at our SMCP (Small Modular Cement Plant) in Landes
- Manage Product Quality concerning customer requirements and standards, control, and analysis of raw materials, measurement, and control equipment
- Manage the Quality Management System: monitor indicators, conduct audits, etc
- Provide technical support to production teams with the aim of optimizing processes and controlling under- and over-quality. Implement corrective actions
- Manage teams
- Deploy our online analysis technological tools on our SCMP
- Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety policies and standards (safety audits)
Your expertise
Significant experience in the cement industry as a quality engineer
- Excellent knowledge of cement and concrete standards
- Proficiency in ISO 9001 - 14001 standards
- Project management skills
- International experience would be a plus
- Experience in other departments of a cement plant would be a plus
